Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
